Job Summary

The Finance & Accounts Manager oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and period-end close activities. This role ensures accurate reporting under U.S. GAAP, supports SOX and SEC requirements where applicable, and partners with finance teams and business leaders on financial planning and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including the review of journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and account analyses.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including consolidations across entities and business units.
  • Support SEC reporting, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, where applicable.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, coordinate SOX testing and remediation, and promote adherence to corporate accounting policies and applicable regulations.
  • Lead external audit coordination and serve as a primary liaison for auditors.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, working capital, banking relationships, debt covenants, and cash management processes.
  • Coordinate tax compliance activities and partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

Qualifications

  • Skills: Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge; financial reporting and consolidation; SEC reporting; SOX compliance; audit coordination; tax and regulatory compliance; advanced Excel; financial systems and reporting tools; team leadership and communication.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or an MBA in Finance preferred.
  • Experience: Progressive accounting or controllership experience, including financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, ethical, collaborative, and able to communicate financial information clearly.
