Technical Specialist (VDI) – L3

Experience Required

  • Overall 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure.
  • 4+ years of proven experience with VMware Enterprise Products and EUC Horizon.
  • Extensive hands-on experience (4+ years) in enterprise VDI, including the Omnissa Horizon product suite, Omnissa Workspace ONE Access, Omnissa DEM, 3rd party IDM integration, and supporting VMware/Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with Log Analysis and basic scripting for automating daily operations.
  • Must have hands-on deployment experience of Horizon infrastructure in large environments.
  • Experience in creating High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and solution documents.
  • Good hands-on skills in Hyperconverged Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L3 support for enterprise VDI environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Omnissa Horizon versions.
  • Manage and support VMware/Microsoft technologies.
  • Demonstrate expertise in hybrid cloud architectures, including AWS, Azure, and on-premises solutions.
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of Omnissa Horizon versions.
  • Understand ESXi, vSphere, and cloud platforms.
  • Automate daily operations using scripting.
  • Translate technical requirements into actionable plans.
  • Create High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and solution documents.
  • Troubleshoot user-level issues within the Horizon Suite.
  • Manage TCP/IP, LAN technologies (switching, routing), and DNS.
  • Perform Windows Server Administration and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with senior team members, conduct technical sessions, and mentor L1 team members.
  • Achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Interface with Customers and Third-party OEMs and HW vendors, raising support calls with Microsoft, VMware, and other vendors.
  • Work US and UK shifts based on organizational needs and be available for on-call rotation, including night shifts.
