Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Field Engineer with program management capabilities to manage field services and on-site startup operations for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The role involves liaising between overseas projects and domestic customers to support clear communication and successful project execution. Candidates should have a strong technical background in semiconductor equipment, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage field services for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, maintaining high standards of performance and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee on-site startup operations and coordinate activities required for successful launches.
• Facilitate communication between overseas projects and domestic customers.
• Travel domestically and internationally to manage field service operations and support project needs.
• Train and manage a team of field service engineers, supporting their professional development and operational effectiveness.
• Communicate and collaborate in English with engineers and clients to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
• Develop and implement program management strategies for field service operations.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

• Experience as a field engineer or startup personnel for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams.
• Understanding of customer and team member requirements.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to connect technical teams and clients.
• Experience in program management or project coordination.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods.
• Bilingual proficiency in English, including at least five years of professional experience using English.
• N1-level Japanese proficiency or equivalent fluency.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
