Job Summary

We are seeking a technically strong and proactive ERP Implementation & IT Specialist with hands-on expertise in SQL backend development and database management, as well as .NET application development, to support the implementation, integration, configuration, and ongoing support of the company’s ERP system.

The successful candidate will work closely with the ERP implementation team, internal departments, and software partners to understand business requirements, support system configuration and customization, develop and manage database-level solutions, and ensure effective integration of ERP processes across the organization.

The role will initially focus on ERP implementation and cross-functional system integration, then transition into a broader IT systems support role. Responsibilities will include ERP support, IT troubleshooting, system configuration, software updates, user support, and ongoing system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Implementation & Integration

• Support and coordinate the end-to-end implementation of the company’s ERP system, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-implementation stabilization.
• Study and understand existing business processes across Projects, Engineering, Procurement, Stores, Finance, HR, Contracts, Estimation, QA/QC, Plant Operations, and other functions.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical system requirements.
• Work closely with the ERP implementation team to configure and customize the ERP system in line with the company’s operational workflows and approval structures.
• Support integration of ERP modules and business processes across departments to ensure effective data and information flow throughout the organization.
• Identify process gaps, system limitations, integration requirements, and opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
• Coordinate data migration, data validation, system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and go-live activities.
• Monitor system interfaces, data flows, integrations, and dependencies between ERP modules and other business applications.
• Support preparation and maintenance of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRSs), process maps, system documentation, and implementation-related documentation.
• Coordinate with ERP vendors, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve functional and technical issues.
• Support ERP user training, system adoption, and post-implementation stabilization.

SQL & .NET Development

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL databases, queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and database-related solutions supporting ERP and business applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database issues, data inconsistencies, performance issues, and integration-related errors.
• Develop and maintain .NET-based applications, interfaces, modules, utilities, and system enhancements as required.
• Develop integrations between the ERP system and other internal applications, databases, and business tools using appropriate APIs, interfaces, or other integration methods.
• Support customization and enhancement of ERP-related applications based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, data extracts, and management information using ERP and database data.
• Ensure data integrity, security, accuracy, and appropriate access controls across business applications and databases.

IT Systems Support

• Provide technical support to users for ERP applications, software, systems, and related IT issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, system access, application, and connectivity issues.
• Configure and maintain business applications, user accounts, system settings, and software environments.
• Manage software installations, updates, upgrades, patches, and system configurations.
• Coordinate with external IT and software service providers for technical support, system maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Monitor system performance, identify recurring technical issues, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive solutions.
• Maintain IT and system-related documentation, configurations, user access records, and technical procedures.
• Provide technical support to departments and users to ensure continuity of business operations.
• Support implementation of IT systems, applications, integrations, and digital tools as the company’s technology requirements evolve.
• Maintain the company’s LAN and WAN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in ERP implementation, ERP technical support, software development, application support, or IT systems.
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL / SQL Server, including database management, queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and troubleshooting.
• Strong hands-on experience in .NET development, preferably with C# and related .NET technologies.
• Experience in ERP implementation, ERP customization, system integration, or enterprise application development.
• Experience working with ERP implementation partners and software vendors.
• Strong understanding of business process mapping and cross-functional system integration.
• Experience supporting at least one ERP implementation or major ERP system integration project.
