Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania 19380 (100% onsite; local candidates only; no relocation) Environment: Precision, quality-driven manufacturing with a medical device focus Compensation: $22.00–$30.00 per hour, plus shift differentials (2nd shift: +15%; 3rd shift: +30%) Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available

About the Opportunity

Join our team as a CNC Machinist and contribute to the production of critical medical device components. We are seeking skilled professionals eager to work with advanced multi-axis machining technology and produce precision components. Experience with CNC equipment such as Mazak, Swiss, Haas, Okuma, Mori Seiki, Citizen, Tsugami, DMG Mori, and Makino is valued.

Equipment

  • Mazak Integrex 100 and 200 with lower turrets
  • Mazak Variaxis 5-axis machining centers
  • Star Swiss-type CNC lathes
  • Advanced multi-axis milling and turning platforms

What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC machining equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and process documentation.
  • Select tooling and adjust offsets.
  • Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment.
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality surface finishes.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and improve production efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of CNC machining experience.
  • Ability to independently set up and operate CNC equipment.
  • Strong blueprint-reading skills.
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, offsets, and machining fundamentals.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
