Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Inspector to ensure construction projects comply with applicable regulations, standards, and contract specifications. The role requires a keen eye for quality and the ability to assess construction processes against project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction sites to verify compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Review construction documents, schematics, and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Conduct quality control checks on materials and workmanship throughout construction.
• Document findings and prepare reports outlining compliance or deficiencies.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, engineers, and owners to address construction issues.
• Monitor construction progress for adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Provide guidance on construction management and quality assurance best practices.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in construction inspection, preferably in the public sector.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, schematics, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of quality control processes related to building materials and methods.
• Familiarity with pipeline construction standards is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
