Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.

Responsibilities:

• Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
• Position patients appropriately to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to maintain equipment and prolong the life of X-ray tubes.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Interpret doctors’ written scanning instructions accurately.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.

Skills:

• Proficiency in CT Technologist procedures and equipment.
