CT Technologist (Travel Contract)

- Weekends: Every fourth weekend; no call

Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
- Position patients appropriately for scans of specific areas of the body.
- Perform regular CT scanner warm-up sequences to help prolong the life of X-ray tubes.
- Sterilize radiologic equipment to support patient safety.
- Interpret physicians’ written scanning instructions accurately.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
- Evaluate CT scans to ensure technical quality.
- Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
