Customs Analyst

Job Description

• Gather and analyze daily broker files, entry packets, and ACE data related to imports and exports.
• Support import and export transactions for AAM locations, including documentation generation.
• Perform data mining for escalations, reporting, and root-cause investigations involving HTS codes, part numbers, suppliers, countries of origin, and other discrepancies.
• Conduct data mining and investigations in response to requests from Sales, Purchasing, and other business areas, and summarize findings.
• Investigate filings for accuracy and identify required actions, including broker filing changes, missing documentation, and additional solicitations.
• Provide post-entry and post-filing support by monitoring brokers for corrective actions, resolving missing entry-package documentation, addressing data discrepancies, and coordinating meetings to close investigations.
• Create periodic reports and presentations, including participating in weekly calls with key business partners and brokers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with import and export shipments across a variety of global countries.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
