Russian Audio Annotator

Role Overview

Participate as a Russian-speaking voice actor in a multi-speaker diarization project. You’ll take part in natural, unscripted group conversations on assigned topics, responding to other speakers and contributing clear, realistic speech with appropriate emotion, personality, and tone. This is a group conversation task, not a solo recording or individual speech sample.

Key Responsibilities

• Join the assigned session at the specified date, time, and time zone.
• Discuss assigned topics naturally with other speakers.
• Speak regularly, ask and answer questions, respond to others, and contribute fairly.
• Keep the discussion interactive rather than reading a script or delivering a formal speech.
• Use natural conversational reactions, including brief overlaps and backchannels when appropriate.

Requirements

• Be comfortable speaking and interacting in a group conversation.
• Be available for the full assigned session.
• Be willing to contribute actively throughout the session.
• Be able to follow instructions and discuss topics naturally without a script.
• Be able to provide the required recording environment and microphone setup.

Recording Setup

A proper external microphone with wired headphones is preferred. A good-quality wired headset with a built-in microphone is acceptable if it produces clear audio. Bluetooth earphones, laptop speakers, and open speakers are not acceptable. Use the same microphone, headphones, and device as for the application audio sample. Record in a quiet room and avoid background noise, echo, distortion, clipping, or handling noise.

Engagement Details

• Flexible agreement; this is not a full-time or part-time employment position.
• Duration: 6 weeks.
• 32 positions; start immediately.
• Listed experience: 1 year.
• Candidate rates: View candidate rates.
• Partner fee: $30 after onboarding and training are completed.
• Potential contract extension based on performance and project needs.

Evaluation Process

Shortlisting is based on qualifications and relevant experience. Shortlisted candidates undergo a delivery review before starting.
