Backend C++ Developer (Fixed-Term Contract) — Investment Banking, Singapore

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend C++ Developer for a fixed-term contract (FTC) opportunity in Singapore. This role is with our client, a leading global investment bank, within its Sales & Trading Technology function. You will support systems built on a technology stack that includes C++, .NET, Kafka, KDB+, and Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend C++ components for sales and trading applications.
• Work across the broader technology stack, including .NET services, Kafka messaging pipelines, KDB+ data stores, and Python tooling, as needed.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across trading systems.
• Collaborate with trading desks, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and production support.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on C++ development skills.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and tools.
