About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes, sourcing materials, and ensuring the best value for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, obtain, and evaluate supplier quotations to achieve the best overall value in terms of price, quality, and lead time.
• Manage demand planning and MRP-driven procurement processes.
• Collaborate with international suppliers, with a focus on those in Europe and the US.
• Adhere to documented procurement procedures and quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
• Diploma in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of buying or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience working with international suppliers, preferably across Europe and the US.
• Experience with documented procurement procedures and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proficiency in demand planning and MRP-driven procurement.
• Expertise in SYSPRO, specifically the Purchasing and Bill of Materials (BOM) modules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• SAPICS CPIM or CSCP certification is highly desirable.
