We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data in support of business decision-making. The successful candidate will identify trends, develop reports and dashboards, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
- Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.
- Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities in datasets.
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and measurable KPIs.
- Create data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Work with business teams and other stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor data quality and resolve inconsistencies or reporting issues.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Automate recurring reports and improve analytical processes where possible.
- Maintain documentation for reports, data sources, metrics, and analytical processes.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehouses.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Understanding of business intelligence and reporting best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or Google Cloud.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related role, depending on the position level.
