Job Description

This is an opportunity for an accomplished staffing sales professional to join a fully remote, national sales team as a Director of Sales.

This senior individual-contributor role focuses on new-client acquisition and revenue generation and does not include people-management responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a proven business developer and relationship builder who can leverage an established network to engage enterprise and mid-market clients.

The role focuses on growing the VendorOne Service Model—an MSP solution for direct-hire recruiting—as well as direct-hire and contingent staffing services for enterprise and mid-sized organizations across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect for and acquire new Fortune 1000 and mid-market clients.
  • Manage the complete sales process, from initial outreach and discovery through contract execution and client onboarding.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business-development plan focused on sustainable revenue growth.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles and influence decision-makers across Talent Acquisition, Procurement, HR, Operations, and executive leadership.
  • Leverage an established professional network to create new opportunities and accelerate sales conversations.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects, clients, and strategic industry partners.
  • Identify opportunities to expand VendorOne, direct-hire, and contingent staffing solutions within new and existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with fulfillment and account-management teams to support successful client launches and long-term account growth.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of successful professional staffing sales experience, including experience in IT, finance and accounting, engineering, or other professional disciplines.
  • Proven success acquiring new mid-market and enterprise clients within the professional staffing industry.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding significant individual revenue and sales-production goals.
  • Strong relationships with Talent Acquisition, Procurement, MSP, contingent-workforce, and executive decision-makers.
  • Established network within the professional staffing and talent ecosystem.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong business-development orientation and the ability to independently develop and close new business.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a growing, fast-moving organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to travel and attend industry conferences approximately two to three times per year.
  • Strong technical proficiency with Zoom, Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must reside in the United States.
  • Experience should include professional staffing sectors relevant to the services described above. Experience limited primarily to healthcare or light-industrial staffing may not align with this role.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary, based on experience and demonstrated sales performance.
  • Uncapped commission potential.
  • Candidates with exceptional industry relationships and a proven production history may be considered at compensation levels appropriate to their experience.
