Engineering Supervisor - Surveying

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead and manage all surveying aspects across our diverse civil engineering and construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all surveying operations for civil engineering and construction projects.
• Conduct engineering surveys for roadworks, bulk earthworks, infrastructure, and civil construction.
• Utilize modern surveying equipment, including Total Stations, GNSS/GPS, and digital levels.
• Interpret engineering drawings, survey data, specifications, and construction plans accurately.
• Apply proficiency in relevant surveying and CAD software.
• Manage coordinate systems, benchmarks, levels, setting-out, and as-built surveys.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Geomatics, or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering surveying within the civil engineering and construction industry.
• Proven experience in managing surveying for roadworks, bulk earthworks, infrastructure, and civil construction projects.
• Proficiency in using modern surveying equipment (Total Stations, GNSS/GPS, digital levels).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, survey data, specifications, and construction plans.
• Proficiency and practical experience with relevant surveying and CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of coordinate systems, benchmarks, levels, setting-out, and as-built surveys.
• Registration with the South African Geomatics Council (SAGC) is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence.
