Education Sales Specialist

About the Role

belif Skincare is seeking an Education Sales Specialist to drive sales growth and exceed targets for our brand in the New York and New Jersey region. This field-based role involves extensive travel to various retailers and reports directly to the National Field Manager.

Key Details

  • Location: New York, NY (Field-based, covering NY & NJ)
  • Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension
  • Hours: 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and drive sales across Sephora, ULTA, and Macy's locations within the assigned territory.
  • Provide comprehensive product education and selling techniques to retail staff through regular store visits.
  • Build strong relationships with retail leadership and associates to assess and enhance sales performance.
  • Stay informed about market trends and key drivers affecting performance within the beauty retail landscape.
  • Leverage connections to expand belif brand presence through additional retail partnerships or a broader client base.
  • Develop and grow client bases within core belif locations to boost sales.
  • Coach store associates on their responsibilities to enhance sales performance.
  • Train associates to improve productivity by developing selling and customer service skills, and by organizing events and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare materials for events and promotional programs to maximize sales impact.
  • Manage daily, monthly, and seasonal tracking of retail performance in the territory, ensuring all reporting is accurate and timely.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience building, training, and delivering customer-facing product demonstrations and training programs.
  • Strong coaching skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • A reliable car and valid driver's license are required for extensive travel throughout the New York City and New Jersey region.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $25
  • One-way mileage reimbursement (from home to store)
  • Parking reimbursement for store visits
