Experienced Carpenter – Remodeling & Restoration

Location: Michigan City, IN Pay: $25-$29/hour + Quarterly Bonuses + Full Benefits

Monroe Restoration seeks a skilled and experienced carpenter passionate about quality craftsmanship and desiring consistent, year-round employment. For over four decades, we have been instrumental in helping homeowners and businesses recover from fire, water, and storm damage. What You'll Do:

  • Perform framing and structural repairs.
  • Execute finish carpentry tasks, including trim, doors, cabinets, and flooring.
  • Engage in residential remodeling and reconstruction projects.
  • Interpret plans and scopes of work.
  • Collaborate effectively with Project Managers and homeowners.
  • Ensure job sites are safe and well-organized.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call board-up schedule (with additional compensation).

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential carpentry or remodeling.
  • Proficiency in both framing and finish carpentry.
  • Strong commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Possess basic hand and power tools.
  • Restoration experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
