The team maintains accurate fleet and driver information, supports safe and compliant operations, analyzes fleet needs and costs, and serves field personnel and business leaders.

About the role

Support a fleet integration project expected to last six to twelve months. Coordinate pre-close, Day 1, post-close, and stabilization activities with Fleet, acquisition workstreams, company personnel, field locations, and external service providers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collect, validate, and reconcile vehicle, trailer, equipment, driver, ownership, location, assignment, odometer, licensing, and organizational data.
  • Coordinate asset onboarding and service enrollment, including fleet inventory uploads, account configuration, insurance documentation, fuel and maintenance programs, tolling, registrations, telematics, roadside assistance, pool reservations, and decals.
  • Review title, registration, and acquisition documents; identify missing information and coordinate resolution with Fleet, sellers, service providers, leasing companies, and Legal.
  • Support managers, fleet contacts, and drivers through the transition by coordinating system access, instructions, training, employee and driver data, fuel PINs, fleet materials, telematics installation reporting, and vehicle assignments.
  • Assist with fleet supplier, financial, and service transitions, including supplier onboarding, billing updates, routine transactions, and service continuity documentation.
  • Track fleet readiness, compliance, and lifecycle requirements, including title and registration status, regulatory filings, damaged assets, device deployment, high-mileage vehicles, and replacement candidates.
  • Maintain integration records, dashboards, checklists, status reports, and process documentation; analyze routine fleet data, communicate risks, resolve standard issues, and escalate complex matters.

Minimum qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and three to five years of fleet management experience in a corporate, commercial, vocational, leasing, utility, government, or similarly complex fleet.
  • Experience across several fleet functions, such as asset onboarding, inventory, vehicle assignments, titles and registrations, maintenance, fuel, telematics, driver support, compliance, financial administration, or disposition.
  • Ability to validate detailed vehicle, driver, ownership, licensing, and financial information, identify discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and protect confidential information.
  • Strong collaboration and customer-service skills, organization, prioritization, written and verbal communication, analytical skills, and judgment in resolving or escalating issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and SharePoint or comparable business tools.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience with acquisitions, divestitures, fleet conversions, supplier transitions, system implementations, or other large-scale organizational change.
  • Knowledge of titles, registrations, ownership transfers, Department of Transportation compliance, driver qualification records, fuel-tax or registration programs, and state-specific vehicle requirements.
  • Familiarity with fleet management, fuel-card, telematics, maintenance, tolling, pool-reservation, or connected-vehicle platforms such as Holman Insights or Geotab.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, PivotTables, Power Query, data reconciliation, and exception reporting; exposure to Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, Databricks, or workflow tools is beneficial.
  • Experience with supplier coordination, account configuration, billing transitions, fleet reporting, training materials, process documentation, or operational dashboards.
