About the Role

codeCampus is hiring and training a Floating Lead Instructor to serve the Ventura area for the current school year. This role involves working with staff at our partner schools and leading engaging STEAM projects using our proprietary curriculum for students in grades TK–8.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff at partner schools.
• Lead STEAM projects and activities for students using our curriculum.
• Instruct students in grades TK–8.
• Build trusting and respectful relationships with students and parents.
• Foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

About You

This position is suitable for early-career and experienced educators. Successful candidates will have:

• Immediate availability for paid training and instruction.
• Availability for approximately 12–15 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to complete our professional development training program.

Compensation

This position pays $25.00 per hour, with the rate commensurate with experience. Performance-based raises and advancement opportunities are available.
