IoT, Embedded & Robotics Engineer

DigitalSofts is expanding its expertise from IoT and embedded systems into robotics. We specialize in connecting devices, sensors, and gateways to our cloud platforms across various industries including fuel stations, agriculture, manufacturing, and fleet management. We are now growing our robotics capabilities, focusing on automation, motion control, and robotic sensing. This role is ideally suited for builders who are passionate about making hardware, sensors, and robots perform useful tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware and integrate sensors and microcontrollers.
• Facilitate device data transfer to the cloud using protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, or Modbus.
• Build robust edge processing solutions with a focus on reliability and failover.
• Design and prototype robotics systems, including actuators, motors, control loops, and robotic sensing.
• Integrate real-time data feeds into dashboards and ERP systems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python for embedded development.
• Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
• Familiarity with communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, Modbus) and sensor integration.
• Solid understanding of robotics and control fundamentals (motors, actuators, kinematics). ROS experience is a plus.
• Experience with cloud IoT ingestion and device security best practices.
• Proficiency in using modern AI tools for development and iteration.
