codeCampus is hiring and training a Lead Instructor to work in the Lawndale area during the current school year. The role involves leading STEAM projects and activities for students in transitional kindergarten through 8th grade, using the company’s proprietary curriculum at partner schools.

Responsibilities

• Work with staff at partner schools.
• Lead classroom STEAM projects and activities.
• Build trusting, respectful relationships with students and parents.
• Create a safe environment for students.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to complete the professional development training program.
• Available to begin paid training and instruction immediately.

Schedule

• Monday–Wednesday: 2:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Schedule is subject to change.

Compensation

$25–$28 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for raises based on performance and tenure. This role may suit early-career and experienced educators.
