Lead Instructor – Ventura

codeCampus is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Lead Instructor in the Ventura area to inspire young minds in STEAM subjects. If you are an educator dedicated to fostering a love of learning in elementary and middle school students, and live or work in Ventura or surrounding communities, we encourage you to apply. The Role

As a Lead Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging STEAM education. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with staff at our partner schools.
• Leading engaging STEAM projects and activities for students using our proprietary curriculum.
• Teaching students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Building trusting, respectful relationships with students and parents.
• Fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Undertaking additional duties as assigned to support program success.

Qualifications

This role is ideal for both early-career and experienced educators. Candidates should have:

• Availability to begin paid training immediately and start instructing promptly.
• Consistent availability Monday through Friday.
• Proven experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to complete our comprehensive professional development training program.

Compensation

The hourly rate is $25.00, commensurate with experience. Long-term employees may have opportunities for performance-based pay raises and advancement.
