Work Schedule

  • Shift Openings:
    • 1 opening on 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
    • 1 opening on 3rd Shift (Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Estimated Hours Worked per Week: 50-60

Position Summary

Perform a wide variety of skilled and complex mechanical and electrical maintenance work. Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and plant facilities to ensure satisfactory operation of equipment and processes. This position is moderately physical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties. Determine effective repair procedures to prevent recurrence.
  • Navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for troubleshooting equipment faults.
  • Modify, position, and diagnose problems on ABB robots (Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700).
  • Install, move, and align new and existing equipment.
  • Set up and operate various machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform gas and electric welding operations.
  • Complete related machine repair records, perform associated handling duties, and maintain a neat and orderly work area.
  • Perform all necessary preventive and proactive tasks on plant equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision and/or designated team leader.

Qualifications

  • Education: Completion of technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses) is required.
  • Experience: 48 months of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding is required.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting die casting machine cells using PLCs and electrical/hydraulic schematics is required.
