• 2nd Shift: 2 openings, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 1 opening, Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Estimated hours per week: 50–60

Position Description

Perform a wide variety of skilled and complex mechanical and electrical maintenance work. Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and plant facilities to support reliable equipment and process operation. This position involves moderately physical work.

Principal Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.
• Determine effective repair procedures and implement repairs that help prevent recurrence.
• Navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC-5, and ControlLogix software to troubleshoot equipment faults.
• Modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots, including M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700 models.
• Install, move, and align new and existing equipment.
• Set up and operate various types of machine-shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform gas and electric welding operations.
• Complete machine-repair records and perform related material-handling duties.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Perform preventive and proactive maintenance tasks on plant equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by a supervisor or designated team leader.

Qualifications

• Education: Ability to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational coursework, including certificates or some college coursework.
• Experience: 48 months of related experience with Allen-Bradley systems, hydraulics, robotics, and welding.
• Technical proficiency: Maintenance Technician A-level proficiency in troubleshooting die-casting machine cells using PLCs and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
