Manufacturing Production Supervisor - Tempe, AZ

RonInfoTech Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor for an immediate opening with our client in Tempe, AZ. In this role, you will oversee production operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. This position requires strong leadership, quality control expertise, and the ability to drive process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Details

• Duration: 2 months, with a possibility of extension.
• Shift: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM. Flexibility for Saturday work and overtime is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Oversight: Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all processes; maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Staff Supervision: Lead and support production associates; conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions.
• Quality Control: Train staff on quality standards and monitor adherence; address product quality issues.
• Inventory Management: Track and audit raw materials and finished goods inventory; coordinate with the supply chain team.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improvement; implement measures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety training.
• Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, including quality assurance, logistics, and maintenance teams.
• Training & Development: Train new associates and provide ongoing skill enhancement opportunities.
• Problem Resolution: Address production issues promptly and implement effective corrective actions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, and HACCP standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records and generate comprehensive production reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; a degree is preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates with dairy production experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in food production.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proven ability to lead a diverse, unionized workforce.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business applications.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour (W2)
