Manufacturing QA Technician - Tempe, AZ

RonInfoTech Solutions is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing QA Technician to join our client's team in Tempe, AZ.

About the Role:

As a Quality Assurance Lab Technician at a dairy processing plant, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of products. This involves conducting inspections of raw materials, monitoring production processes, and performing various tests to verify compliance with quality standards. You will document findings, report issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help maintain the company's reputation for delivering top-quality dairy products.

Job Details:

• Location: Tempe, AZ
• Duration: 6 months
• Shift: Part-time, 10-hour shifts on Sunday, Friday, and Saturday (9 AM to 7 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality checks on incoming raw materials and finished dairy products.
• Perform regular inspections of production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Monitor and document equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Collaborate with production teams to promptly address quality-related issues.
• Evaluate trends from test results and communicate findings to employees and management.
• Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Food Safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Record and analyze data, prepare reports on quality metrics, and maintain daily records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including maintaining a 6-S rating of “A.”
• Investigate customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions with production.
• Develop and implement quality control processes and testing to meet company standards.
• Perform other assigned projects.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
• Prior experience in food production QA preferred; microbiology or chemical lab experience acceptable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and regulations preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Flexibility to work specified shifts and occasional weekends.
• Proficiency in Windows-based PC programs.
• Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Food Safety principles preferred.
• Experience with lab test equipment and maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
