Master Machinist

Job Type: Direct Hire

We are a Japanese-owned, minority-certified manufacturer that builds custom machines and automation systems and provides precision job-shop machining for Tier 1 and industrial customers. Quality, on-time delivery, and safety are essential. We’re looking for a machinist who can take a job from print to finished part independently.

What You’ll Do

• Read prints and determine the machining process.
• Program parts in Mastercam.
• Set up machines, including fixtures, tooling, and work offsets.
• Run jobs, hold tolerances, and troubleshoot issues.
• Inspect your work against the print.
• Finish parts by deburring and grinding where needed, and prepare them for shipment.
• Track jobs in the ERP system and keep travelers accurate.
• Work safely and complete jobs on time.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience running parts from start to finish on CNC and manual machines.
• Ability to read prints independently.
• Mastercam programming experience.
• Ability to set up a mill or lathe and prove out your own program.
• Ability to inspect your own parts and identify out-of-tolerance work.
• A commitment to quality, on-time delivery, and safety.
• No certifications are required; we hire based on capability and experience.

• Haas UMC-500 5-axis mill with a Haas robotic auto loader
• Haas SL-20 CNC lathe and a second CNC lathe
• Manual mills and a manual lathe
• Surface grinders
• Drill/tap machines
• Mastercam for CAM
• ERP system for travelers and job tracking
