An established manufacturing company specializing in custom-engineered human-machine interface (HMI) products—including membrane switches, rubber keypads, and electromechanical assemblies—is seeking a Mechanical Engineer. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and improving electromechanical products from concept through production. You will work with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure quality, functionality, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for electromechanical products.
• Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Develop prototypes, conduct testing, and refine designs based on results.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet customer requirements.
• Apply GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards to engineering drawings.
• Select materials and components based on performance, durability, and cost.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), engineering change orders, and technical documentation.
• Support production teams with troubleshooting, design improvements, and manufacturing challenges.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams about design requirements and project updates.
• Assist with tooling, fixtures, and product improvements to support efficient manufacturing.
