Medical Expert – Dermatology

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced, India-based dermatologists to evaluate and enhance large language model (LLM) outputs in the medical domain. You will assess AI-generated clinical content for dermatological accuracy, safety, and relevance, and review dermatology images using a structured online evaluation tool. Image reviews include assessing quality and diagnostic usability, identifying issues such as blur, lighting, exposure, colour, and framing, and, where applicable, identifying likely skin conditions, assigning confidence ratings, and documenting your rationale.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated medical text for accuracy, harmfulness, and completeness, with a focus on dermatology.
• Evaluate diagnoses, treatment plans, and summaries for dermatologic cases.
• Provide expert feedback to improve the medical integrity and safety of LLM outputs.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and clinicians to align model performance with evidence-based dermatology standards.
• Assess dermatology images and document findings using online evaluation tools.

Requirements

• MBBS with completed dermatology residency.
• At least 5 years of post-residency clinical practice as a dermatologist in India.
• Must be based in India.
• Strong visual attention to detail and comfort reviewing sensitive or graphic medical images.
• Ability to use web-based annotation platforms, image tools, detailed guidelines, and structured questionnaires.
• Experience in medical content review, clinical research, annotation, or AI/ML evaluation is preferred.

Engagement Details

• Contractor assignment with no medical or paid leave.
• Full-time or part-time commitment: 40, 30, or 20 hours per week, with at least 4 hours of overlap during PST business hours.
• Engagement length: 12 weeks; start as soon as possible.
• Rate: $25 per hour.
• Positions available: 50.
