Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technician or MRI Technologist.
• Traveling MRI Technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and select appropriate anatomical and technical parameters to produce cross-sectional body images.
• Conduct patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to MRI examinations.
• Enter and monitor patient data and manage image transfer, media, and film processing using an automatic processor.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
• Promptly submit high-quality images and documentation to PACS, ensuring accurate image quality, lead markers, patient data, and history.
• Ensure MRI equipment is functioning properly and report potential issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage areas.
