Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technician
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate cameras that detect and map radiopharmaceuticals in patients’ bodies to create diagnostic images.
- Position patients and accurately select anatomical and technical factors.
- Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Submit high-quality images and documentation promptly to PACS, ensuring accurate lead markers and patient data.
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Report potential problems or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Lock out and tag out equipment when appropriate.
- Help maintain a clean and orderly department.
