About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with 1–5 years of professional experience to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Java and/or Python, hands-on experience developing APIs, and a solid understanding of modern software engineering practices. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers to build reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications.
  • Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and/or Python.
  • Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Develop unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality.
  • Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and development processes.
  • Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and documentation.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and development practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong programming experience with Java and/or Python.
  • Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
  • Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
  • Understanding of software testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Spring Boot, Django, Flask, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with distributed systems or event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with messaging technologies and cloud-native development.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
