Sales & Business Development Manager – Culture Custodian

Culture Custodian is seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager to join its team. In this role, you will sell advertising inventory, content, and partnership opportunities across digital channels, podcasts, and live events. You will also pitch production services, YouTube integrations, and social media shows to brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage marketing managers, brand managers, and agencies to pitch Culture Custodian's offerings.
• Develop and present tailored proposals for brand collaborations, sponsorships, content integrations, and co-created campaigns.
• Create and deliver compelling pitch decks.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including outreach, discovery, negotiation, closing, and post-sale account management.
• Stay informed about brand marketing trends in Nigeria and advise brands on culturally credible strategies.
• Build long-term relationships with brands seeking genuine access to culturally engaged audiences.
• Support partnerships that promote African culture and narratives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or media buying; experience in a creative agency, media house, or entertainment brand is an advantage.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge corporate and cultural language.
• Strong understanding of YouTube, social media trends, and how to leverage video content for brand growth.
• Proficiency in presentation software such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva.
• Strong organisational skills, self-motivation, and a proven ability to meet targets.
• A genuine interest in Nigerian pop culture, media, and entertainment.
