Sector Head – Water

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sector Head to lead our Water division. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in water infrastructure and a proven track record in leadership and project delivery.

Key Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor of Engineering Degree or a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Professional Registration: Professional registration with ECSA as Pr Eng is advantageous.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 15 years in consulting engineering and water infrastructure delivery.
  • Proven leadership of multidisciplinary Water teams and major infrastructure projects.
  • Extensive experience in water engineering, including water treatment works, wastewater treatment works, bulk water systems, dams, pump stations, pipelines, and reservoirs.
  • Strong capabilities in project delivery, commercial management, governance, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• Leadership & Client Relations (Advantageous):
  • Experience leading or integrating a national sector/business line under a matrix or centralised operating model.
  • Experience overseeing Water Engineer, Project Manager/Lead Engineer, and construction supervision teams on major water infrastructure projects.
  • Strong client relationships with municipalities, water boards, public sector entities, and regional infrastructure clients.
