Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety programs, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Partner with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards and occupational health risks.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and workplace inspections to support regulatory and company compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective-action planning to help prevent the recurrence of injuries, illnesses, and near misses.
• Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, injury trends, workers’ compensation data, and regulatory reporting requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and serve as a liaison with health and safety agencies and external stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for team members, contractors, and leaders.
• Support emergency preparedness, emergency response planning, and crisis management activities.
• Facilitate safety committees and engagement initiatives that promote team member involvement and accountability.
• Lead projects and initiatives of diverse scope while working independently with limited supervision.
• Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives that enhance safety performance and operational effectiveness.
• Use advanced analytical and technical problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions for existing processes and procedures.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
