About the Role

Seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to develop and support developer self-service automation, optimize cloud costs, and implement security policies. The role involves extensive work with AWS technologies, infrastructure automation, and continuous delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and support self-service automation tools for developers.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy applications.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using AWS CloudFormation.
Optimize cloud costs through auto-scaling and down-scaling solutions.
Implement security automation to enforce policies across AWS accounts.
Collaborate with product teams to architect new workloads.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in AWS infrastructure automation with CloudFormation.
Strong experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, ECS, API Gateway, and Kinesis.
Proficiency in Python or Go.
Experience in an Agile development environment.
Familiarity with Docker and Java tooling, including Maven and Spring.
Proficiency with Git.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Engagement Details

Short-term contractor assignment, approximately 4 weeks (1 month).
Payment: $25 per approved task; average handling time is 45–60 minutes per task.
Availability: At least 4 hours per day and 40 hours per week, with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
Remote work; eligible countries include India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Kenya.
Positions: 10.
Partner Fee: $150.
