Service Technician and Driver

Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals with a strong foundation in electrical principles to join our technical team. This role involves hands-on work in a technical or electrical environment, contributing to the maintenance, repair, and operation of electrical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and electrical tasks as required.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment.
• Operate and monitor electrical systems.
• Utilize computer literacy for daily tasks, including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Actively learn and apply knowledge of solar equipment and its operation.
• Work with and gain hands-on experience with electrical equipment, batteries, and inverters.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Matric qualification.
• Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or currently studying towards one.
• Practical industry experience in a technical or electrical environment.
• Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Working towards a Red Seal qualification or Wireman’s Licence.
• Previous electrical field experience.
• Basic knowledge of solar equipment and its operation.
• Exposure to electrical equipment, batteries, inverters, and technical repair or maintenance work.
