Spanish Remote Interpreter

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Spanish Remote Interpreter to join our team. As a remote interpreter, you will facilitate communication between Spanish and English speakers in various settings, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation services via phone, video conference, or other remote platforms.
• Accurately interpret spoken language, conveying meaning and intent between parties.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information encountered during interpretation.
• Adhere to ethical codes of conduct and professional standards for interpreters.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth interpretation sessions.
• Manage time efficiently to handle multiple interpretation requests.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Proven experience as a professional interpreter.
• Familiarity with remote interpretation platforms and technology.
• Excellent listening, comprehension, and retention skills.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and appropriate communication styles.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Relevant certification or degree in interpretation or a related field is a plus.
• Access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
