Overview

Join our healthcare team as a Staff Pharmacist. You will help deliver safe, effective, and compliant medication services by overseeing medication management, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and upholding regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Compound medications as needed, following sterile compounding guidelines and best practices.
• Verify compounded preparations before release.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapy.
• Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and storage.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in inventory management and control.
• Stay current with pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Current, active pharmacist license in New York State.
• Experience with sterile compounding and USP chapter guidelines preferred.
• Familiarity with 503B outsourcing facility operations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of medication management and patient safety principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
