Storeroom Attendant – Integrated Supply

Job Type: Contractual (6-month temporary assignment)

We are seeking a dedicated Storeroom Attendant for a 6-month temporary assignment. This individual contributor role is responsible for efficient inventory management within a customer's location, ensuring a professional, clean, and organized work environment. The primary duties include receiving, stocking, issuing, and performing cycle counts of inventory.

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime. Flexibility for slightly different consistent shifts will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, picking, packing, and putting away inventory.
  • Breaking down cardboard boxes.
  • Data entry and maintaining accurate stock records.
  • Unloading, receiving, and putting away incoming product, goods, tools, and equipment.
  • Checking for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
  • Sorting, labeling, moving, and storing items according to predetermined sequences.
  • Issuing product, goods, tools, and equipment to site employees, documenting all transactions.
  • Entering data into computerized systems to maintain stock records and responding to inquiries.
  • Documenting discrepancies and seeking management advice for corrective actions.
  • Requesting requisitions to replenish inventory.
  • Assisting with inventory level maintenance and performing cycle counts.
  • Inspecting and measuring tools/equipment for defects and reporting damage.
  • Preparing periodic inventory reports or maintaining perpetual inventory.
  • Delivering tools or equipment to associate work locations.
  • Investigating and locating lost or misplaced equipment or safety supplies.
  • Potentially repairing, servicing, and lubricating tools and equipment.
  • Performing other related duties as requested.

Requirements:

  • 3+ months of relevant experience and/or training.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
  • Experience in loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse environment.
  • Forklift / cherry picker experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency, with aptitude to learn new systems.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office products; Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21 are a plus.
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Attention to detail and a safety-minded approach.
  • SAP experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Steel-toe shoes are required; other forms of protective equipment may be necessary.
  • May be required to pass forklift and/or other warehouse equipment certifications.
  • Assigned work shifts may vary and/or rotate.
  • Overtime may be required, including extended days, evenings, and weekends with little to no advance notice.
  • Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance.
  • Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The facility has heat but no AC; large fans are used for cooling.
  • Safety Requirements: Long hair must be tied back. No drawstrings. No loose or dangling jewelry.
