Performance Test Engineer

Position Overview

This hybrid role is based in Hyderabad or Bangalore. It focuses on delivering timely, high-quality technical product services for large, complex technology products that comply with US tax laws. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams and build strong working relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Define performance and non-functional requirements (NFR) testing strategies and plans, and drive the creation of NFR test cases.
• Develop and use test automation frameworks, including creating scripts with JMeter.
• Execute performance tests.
• Collect performance metrics, analyze test results, and prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in performance test engineering.
• Proven experience with performance testing tools, particularly JMeter.
• Demonstrated ability to design, script, and execute performance tests and collect metrics.
• Strong background in performance and NFR testing, from strategy through execution.
• Experience delivering performance testing across SaaS, PaaS, and on-premises technologies; public cloud experience is preferred.
• Experience with Azure is highly advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps environments.
• Proficiency with DevOps toolchains and CI/CD software delivery models.
• Strong work ethic and effective collaboration skills, including collaboration with the Product Delivery team and leadership.
