Plant Head, Food Processing Factory

Position Overview

Universal HR Solutions is seeking an experienced production leader to oversee daily manufacturing operations at a food processing facility in Bhiwandi. The role includes managing end-to-end production schedules, optimizing workflow efficiency, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and leading plant teams to support on-time delivery and product quality.

Salary: ₹40,000–₹50,000 per month
Experience: 5–10 years in production management, preferably in food processing
Education: Any graduate
Location: Bhiwandi, Thane District

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize production schedules, workflows, and resources to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Coordinate with other managers to set objectives and understand requirements.
• Oversee production processes, monitor progress, resolve issues, and adjust schedules as needed.
• Ensure production meets quality standards and complies with health and safety regulations.
• Supervise and evaluate production personnel, including quality inspectors and workers.
• Determine workforce and raw-material requirements, and select, order, and purchase materials.
• Organize relevant training sessions.
• Communicate with clients about orders and ensure timely dispatch of goods.
• Resolve transport-related issues.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of production management, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Technical, IT, and numerical skills, with strong attention to detail.
• A problem-solving, decision-making, and results-driven approach.
• Leadership, people-management, interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, including the ability to manage a large team.
