Summary
Manage multiple reconstruction projects in accordance with design requirements and project schedules. Maintain regular contact with customers, estimators, contractors, and administrative staff while ensuring completed work meets quality standards and complies with the agreed contract and scope. Manage all project phases according to Kelmann Restoration standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, including budgets, schedules, and quality-control measures.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, architects, engineers, and contractors to establish project requirements, scope, and goals.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress, quality, and safety.
- Identify and manage risks involving scope, schedule, and budget changes.
- Track expenses, forecast costs, and adjust project budgets as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes, standards, company policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate project teams to deliver work on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Provide and document weekly project updates for clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Communicate with subcontractors regarding project status and plan changes.
- Manage project closeout activities, including final inspections, punch lists, and warranty work.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Coordinate with accounting and administrative teams.
- Work with the estimator to ensure all scope items are addressed.
- Track costs and create change orders for additional customer-requested work.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Qualifications and Skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects at different reconstruction phases.
- Ability to analyze construction documents and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to perform basic construction measurements and calculations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PSA, Encircle, Luxor CRM, PDF Writer, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Outlook.
Education and Experience
- Two- or four-year college degree.
- Two to four years of experience in construction management or a related field.
Certifications and Licenses
- Valid driver's license.
- Wisconsin Dwelling Contractor credential.
- OSHA 30 Safety certification.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
This role operates partly on active job sites that may have fire, flood, wind, or structural damage. The employee must be able to move freely over uneven or debris-covered surfaces, with possible lifting requirements. Office-based reporting and management interactions occur in a professional setting.
Travel within the regional tri-state area may be requested. The role may involve exposure to wet or humid conditions, hot or cold weather, fumes, airborne particles, electrical-shock risks, and moderate noise levels. Regular physical activities include walking, sitting, using hands, talking, hearing, and frequently standing.
