Job Overview

The Project Manager for Commercial Restoration leads large-scale commercial property reconstruction and repair projects following disasters, including fire, water, wind, or storm damage. This role ensures projects are restored to pre-loss condition while maintaining the company’s standards for customer care and quality. It balances structural construction management with insurance claim coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Project leadership: Oversee commercial restoration and repair projects from start to finish.
• Budget management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets to support profitability.
• Client relations: Communicate with commercial clients, property managers, and stakeholders throughout recovery projects.
• Scheduling and coordination: Develop project timelines and coordinate trade partners, subcontractors, and internal field crews.
• Insurance alignment: Work with estimators and insurance adjusters to ensure repairs accurately reflect the approved scope of work.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: At least 5 years of commercial project management experience.
• Industry knowledge: Experience estimating and managing large commercial projects, with a strong understanding of the insurance restoration process.
• Technical proficiency: Proficiency with Xactimate, Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software, and standard construction management platforms.
