QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing using Playwright with TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing test strategies, developing robust automation frameworks, executing functional and regression testing, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Perform comprehensive manual testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, track, and report defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
• Maintain and improve automation frameworks for scalability and reliability.
• Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and QA reviews.
• Ensure software quality through continuous testing and process improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing.
• Strong experience with Playwright Automation.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript.
• Solid experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with API testing and defect tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
• Exposure to performance or cross-browser testing is an added advantage.
