About Stanford Financial
Stanford Financial is a dynamic, growing mortgage broking practice based in South East Queensland and lending Australia-wide. The company combines personal client service with in-house technology and a strong credit and settlements support team.
The team works Monday to Friday, from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm, and this role is based at the Springfield Central office.
About the Role
As a Qualified Mortgage Broker, you will manage your own client base and take ownership of the full lending journey, from the initial fact-find through to settlement. You will work across:
- Owner-occupied lending
- Investment lending
- Refinancing
- Bridging finance
- Construction loans
- DHOAS military lending
- SMSF lending
- Asset finance
You will be supported by credit and settlements teams that ensure each file is properly packaged before submission to lenders. In-house technology and operational support allow you to focus on client relationships, advice and deal completion.
Requirements
- Current Australian Credit Licence authorisation or eligibility to become an authorised credit representative
- Minimum two years of experience in Australian home loan lending
- Demonstrated experience managing a live pipeline and settling deals
- Ability to work across a broad and occasionally technical product range
- DHOAS and commercial lending experience is advantageous but not required
- Strong client care skills, including warmth, patience and discretion
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage competing deadlines and lender timeframes
- Confidence learning and using new systems, including in-house technology
- Strong attention to detail, consistency and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, self-motivated approach and comfort managing an independent pipeline within a supportive team
Remuneration
