Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Restaurant Captain to lead our front-of-house team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The Restaurant Captain will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service, food quality, and ambiance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the service staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
• Manage guest reservations, seating arrangements, and special requests to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Train new staff members on service standards, menu knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service timing, collaborating with the kitchen staff.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of service supplies.

Qualifications

• Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, knowledge of food and beverage service, POS system proficiency, conflict resolution.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or culinary degree is a plus.
• Attributes: Professional demeanor, customer-focused, adaptable, detail-oriented, ability to work under pressure, team player.
