Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Technical Editor for a position located in Molesworth, UK.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Review and edit intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, clarity, consistency, and adherence to established style guidelines.
  • Ensure intelligence products comply with Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings, the DIA Style Guide, ICD 203, and applicable IC standards.
  • Collaborate with analysts and other intelligence professionals to enhance the quality, accuracy, and readability of finished intelligence products.
  • Present complex intelligence information clearly and appropriately for diverse audiences.
  • Support editing and production requirements in a 24/7 operational environment.

Required Skills:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Proven experience reviewing and editing written intelligence products with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings, DIA Style Guide, and ICD 203.
  • Ability to support a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Education and experience combinations:
    • Associate’s degree and 8+ years of technical editing experience; or
    • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of technical editing experience; or
    • Master’s degree and 2+ years of technical editing experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working in a Combatant Command (COCOM) environment.
  • Experience incorporating intelligence information into all-source research, analysis, and production.
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community and organizational style guides.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to audiences with varying backgrounds and expertise.
