About Stanford Financial

Stanford Financial is a dynamic and growing mortgage broking practice based in South East Queensland and lending Australia-wide. The company combines personal client service with in-house technology to streamline administrative work and help brokers focus on client relationships and deals.

The team works Monday to Friday, from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm, and the successful candidate will be based at the Springfield Central office.

About the Role

As a Trainee Mortgage Broker, you will work alongside experienced brokers and the credit team while learning mortgage broking from the ground up. Your training will cover:

  • Conducting client fact-finding
  • Structuring mortgage deals
  • Managing files from initial client contact through to settlement
  • Building client relationships
  • Using in-house technology and systems

No prior broking experience is required. A background in finance or real estate is advantageous but not essential. Stanford Financial is seeking someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable representing the Stanford Financial brand
  • Warm, patient and discreet approach to client care
  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage competing deadlines and lender timeframes
  • Confidence learning and using new technology and in-house systems
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently after training
  • Positive, client-focused approach

Remuneration

Competitive remuneration will be discussed directly with suitable candidates during the interview process. Salary details are yet to be confirmed.
