Tuna Loiner — Seafood Processing Operation

About the Role

We are seeking a Tuna Loiner to join a well-established seafood processing operation in Vancouver. This hands-on production role involves breaking down whole tuna using a band saw and preparing loins to specification. Candidates must have prior experience with tuna loining and understand the importance of precision, yield, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a band saw to break down whole tuna into loins
• Perform clean, precise loining cuts while maintaining yield
• Trim and portion tuna to meet quality specifications
• Maintain consistency in cuts and product presentation
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Support overall production flow as needed

Experience Required

• Hands-on experience with tuna loining
• Comfort operating band saws in a production environment
• Understanding of yield, product handling, and quality standards
• Experience working in a fast-paced seafood processing environment

• Location: Vancouver, BC
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
